1. Proposition 65 Warning
California's Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings about exposure to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
2. Chemicals of Concern
Some of our products may contain trace amounts of lead, cadmium, or nickel — particularly metal jewelry components, enamel decorations, and ceramic drinkware. These elements are common in manufactured goods but may expose California residents to chemicals listed under Proposition 65.
3. Metal-Containing Jewelry
Sterling silver, gold vermeil, and base metal components may contain trace amounts of lead. While our products comply with federal safety standards, California's Prop 65 sets stricter thresholds. Some metal jewelry products may require a warning under Prop 65.
4. Ceramic and Glass Products
Decorated ceramic mugs, glasses, and drinkware may contain trace amounts of lead or cadmium in the glaze or decoration. Our suppliers comply with FDA standards for food-contact surfaces.
5. Leather Products
Leather goods may contain trace amounts of chromium from the tanning process. California residents should be aware of this exposure under Prop 65.
6. Safe Handling
Wash hands after handling jewelry or leather products. Do not allow children to chew on or mouth jewelry, keychains, or accessories. Use ceramic and glass products for their intended purpose.
